Antagonistic Nonconformistic

The fact is that 'Antagonistic Nonconformistic' was a mystic and prize winning first show in DeltA Center of Contemporary Art on the occasion and anniversary of Hoogtij #20 (Haagsche Rondgang/Gallery Night The Hague). The title was a desperate and satirical determination, of what would be the binding factor between the one and the other participating artist, crossing the words "where are we supposed to go the beauty in the darkness and the darkness in the beauty what are we supposed to do". The show was inspired by a series of events, held in Amsterdam the years before, it was curated by and consisted of the very same people. This time we had considerably more space, and decided to demonstrate the possibilities of the designated, former elementary school. We never came to collect the PRIX DE MER, but the show did create a local fundament for the seemingly new and ambitious organization. The exhibition was partially supported by STROOM and had a moderate success.

Participating artist:

Daniel Bragin
Harold De Bree
Lucas Cantori
Nare Eloyan
The Kazachenko Brothers
Claudia Mannigel
Grzegorz Marciniak
Nishiko

Both established and renowned artists as well as promising up comers, all with whom the DeltA has a close relationship. FRIENDS POLITICS AS USUAL, RIGHT?
